Description
I have for sale, a '79 440-3 with (exhaust manifolds, and y-pipe) motorhome engine, complete with 727 loadflite trans., minus the parking brake assembly(drum). This engine and tranny has less than 3,000 original miles, 2,971 if my memory serves me right!! Many new parts!! I have replaced the fuel pump, water pump, installed "Mopar Performance" Viton valve seals, valve cover gaskets, "Mopar Performance" Ex. manifold gaskets, oil pressure sending unit, vacuum lines, and had the starter and alternator rebuilt at a quality local shop.I also installed a "Mopar Performance" pick-up truck oil pan, and sold the original pan, (figured I wouldn't need it...., oops!!)I had swapped this engine and trans. in my '77 dually to pull my L/Q horsetrailer, but later opted to go with a higher GVW truck..., and diesel power. I have several pictures showing it, if anyone is interested. Still has the factory stickers on the valve covers!! I did repaint the covers and block to dress it up. $1750.00
