A regural van with a 7.5 Liter V8 460 motor gets about 12 mpg and my van gets 10 mph basically all the time. I have not notice even much of a change even when it's loaded. I have never had the van loaded with more then 3 bikes and 4 people and all their stuff, or towed anything large, but I found the mileage to be 10mph regardless of what loaded.
