Description
If you know Sportsmobile, you know how well built and tough they are. Based on a 2003 Ford E350, she has the awesome, 7.3 powerstroke. This diesel only has 62,800 miles on her so she is barely broken in. These monsters have been known to go well over 800K. She doesn't smoke when you start her up, or stomp on it going up a hill, and jumps to a start. The 7.3 loves veggy oil, and this rig has a top of the line 2 tank Plantdrive system, and I have been very careful to only put the best oil in the huge 40 gal. veggy oil tank. She will run on veggie oil, filtered motor oil, filtered tranny fluid, and diesel. When fossil fuel runs out this baby will still be trucking. Four people can sleep snugly when the top is popped. The many creature comforts include, automatic fantastic fan, furnace, hot water heater, sink, outside hot and cold shower, propane for cook stove, captains chairs that turn to face back, where you can set up the table that tucks away under back seat, porta potty, and curtains. New radio with, CD, Ipod hook up, DVD, GPS, and CB. She has a solar panel to keep the big marine coach battery charged when boon docking. The seats and accents are a Mercedes leather, very comfortable. The cup holders are not only broken, they suck. Sportsmobile spoke to a place called Deaver Springs to put springs in all their fords, because it is a E350, not a smooth ride. My guess is they were to expensive, deal didn't work out. I put their springs on this E350, with air adjustable shocks, my wife and daughter do not complain about bouncing around any more. Plush ride. with new BFG all terrain "E" rated tires, WARN M12000 winch, new battery, jerry cans, all the lights you will ever need, skid plates all over, this RV will take you surfing in Bahia, or fishing in the mountains. I made sure I would not get stranded with my family out in the wilderness. She is smoke free. She has some clear coat separation on the fiberglass top, side light has paint coming off, chipped paint from stones on front, tried to show. The guy I got her from said he only drove on the road, and had her in 4 wheel drive a few times in the snow. I have not driven her off road. No rust. Over 100k invested. 69.000obo. My family affectionately calls her the green monster, we will miss her.
