The brief history for us is that we bought our first Award in 1993 (23�) and loved the attention to detail and that it was entirely made by hand � no production lines.
We worked for several years with Peter Davies at Award on what we would like in a travel trailer and future floor plans. Eventually we traded our 23� in for the first triple slide (31�) they produced. This trailer was made and sold in Dunnville, Canada. Awards made in 2002 and after were no longer distributed in the United States and do not have a bluebook value.
The space and storage inside has been exceptionally well-thought out. Having a 8� square open hardwood floor living space with interchangeable place for dinette or sofa was especially wonderful for when we camped with family.
Since then Award has stopped manufacturing travel trailers. They maintain a shop in Dunnville, Ontario for replacement parts and repairs, and refurbished previous-owned units.
The trailer has been very well-maintained and looks almost new.
