Equipped with a Cummins 400 HP model ISL economical diesel engine. A Cummins 7.5 KW diesel generator. An attractive feature of this genset is that it is extended by a hydraulic ram which eases the chore of moving it in and out.
The majority of all annual maintenance was done by Cummins diesel. It is equipped with a Jacobs brake, usually called a Jake Brake. The brake has high and a low settings. It does a wonderful job at slowing the motorhome and tow car when descending steep grades or any time you need to slow for traffic. It saves brake wear, and avoids overheating the main brakes on the motorhome. The brakes are discs on the front and drums on the rear.
It has two slides on the driver�s side of the coach . Living room / dining room slide, approximately 30�. and bedroom slide on the driver�s side. The bedroom slide allows for walking room at the foot of the bed as well as drawers for clothes. After much research we found that this model (2 slide Windsor) has greater storage capacity compared to models with 3 or 4 slides, without significant loss of floor space. The pantry in this model and year offers large floor to ceiling storage for dishes, pots and pans, and canned goods as well. The pantry extends from the driver�s side wall to the center walkway, and is 12 inches deep at the top and a bit deeper at the bottom section.
The refrigerator freezer is a 4 door Norcold unit and all of the recalls have been addressed.
The toilet is porcelain and it has electric flush.
It has a clothes washer / dryer which is very useful.
The old style TV over the dash was replaced with a Sony 32� flat screen installed at the Monaco factory.
A built in desk was added with three file drawers that compliments the interior of the coach. It was custom designed and built by Davis Cabinets in Junction City, Oregon. The desk has a drawer for a laptop computer, and another drawer for a printer / scanner/ fax with room to store some paper.
A reverse osmosis system was added under the kitchen sink so consistently clean, clear, and good tasting water for drinking and cooking is always available.
