Description
5th Wheel Trailer – Great for Boondocking or Seasonal Use. Being sold as is with clean title.
Factory weight is around 10,000 lbs with plenty of cargo capacity, making it a manageable tow for a 3/4 ton pickup.
Pros / Features: * Brakes redone a few years ago * Main slide was reworked at the same time and is functioning properly * Tires replaced in 2023 with very little use since * 50 amp propane generator installed at purchase (1k hours, runs well) * Includes solar setup with two panels and charge controller * Upgraded battery bank (4 golf cart batteries) with strong capacity for off-grid camping * Suspension upgraded for improved durability and easier maintenance * Can fill water tanks traditionally or by pumping from an external water source * Newer toilet installed * TV and DVD/radio system included * Tire pressure monitoring system included * Backup camera with monitor included * Propane tanks recertified a few years ago * Plenty of storage throughout * Manuals included for most systems and appliances * 5th wheel hitch included if you’re willing to have it professionally removed and installed
Cons / Things to Know: * A/C fan motor not working (unit itself is fine; likely a repairable issue) * TV antenna was lost during a storm * Minor exterior cosmetic damage from travel (no structural issues) * Bathroom door and trim have some damage * Main awning works but isn’t as smooth as it should be after a past repair * Electric side of hot water heater not working (propane works great) * Small intermittent leak from exterior kitchen drain line (accessible and likely a straightforward fix) * Window cranks in kitchen and living area need repair * A couple of interior cabinet doors need hinges * Entry door can pop open while traveling if not secured carefully * Steps are usable but could use reinforcement or repair * General wear and tear consistent with age (fabric, carpet, shelving, etc.)
Why We are Selling: We traveled full-time for several years, but our situation has changed. With our dog’s mobility issues and a recent move to Vermont, we are no longer using the trailer the way we used to. It has been a great rig for us, especially for off-grid camping, and we would like to see it go to someone who will enjoy it.
